ONLINE STORE TERMS OF USE (DISTANCE CONTRACT)

SIA MUROVTECH, registration number: 50203733841, legal address: Ledus iela 4 - 99, Rīga, LV-1015, hereinafter referred to as the "Online Store", provides the content available on murovtech.lv and supplies products in accordance with the Terms of Use set out below.

1. General Provisions

When a consumer purchases products through the website, such a mutual agreement is considered a Distance Contract and is subject to the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia governing distance contracts, including but not limited to the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia, the Cabinet Regulations on Distance Contracts, and other applicable legislation.

2. Placing Orders

The prices and specifications of products offered in the Online Store are indicated on each product page. To place an order, add the selected products to the shopping cart, complete all required fields, and choose your preferred delivery method.

The total cost of the order, including the delivery fee, will be displayed before the purchase is confirmed. To complete the order, proceed with payment.

3. Payment Terms

The currency used on the website is euros. Purchases can be made using the following payment methods provided by the payment platform makecommerce.lv (Maksekeskus AS):

  • Visa/Mastercard card payments
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay
  • Internet banking (Swedbank, SEB, Luminor, Citadele, and others)

Personal data required for payment processing is transferred to the licensed payment institution Maksekeskus AS.

The contract enters into force upon successful payment. If an order cannot be fulfilled for any reason, the buyer will be notified and the amount paid will be refunded within no later than 14 days of receiving the notification.

4. Order Fulfillment and Delivery Terms

The Online Store processes and fulfills orders within 1–3 business days. If any product is unavailable, the buyer will be notified and the parties will agree on the most suitable solution.

Delivery is available within Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. Products are delivered to the address specified by the buyer within 2–5 business days (order processing and preparation time is not included in this period). In exceptional cases, delivery may take longer — the buyer will be notified in advance.

Delivery costs are displayed before payment is initiated. Orders over €50.00 qualify for free delivery.

If the buyer does not collect the parcel from the locker within the specified timeframe, the buyer bears both the return shipping costs and the cost of redelivery.

5. Right of Withdrawal

The buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the product, except in cases where the product has been opened and its packaging has been damaged — car care chemicals cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons if the packaging has been opened. The right of withdrawal does not apply if the buyer is a legal entity.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the product must be unused and in its original, unopened packaging. The buyer is responsible for ensuring that the value, quality, and safety of the product are not diminished.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, a withdrawal notice must be sent to info@murovtech.lv within 14 days of receiving the product. The buyer is obliged to return the product to the seller without delay, and no later than 14 days after sending the withdrawal notice. The cost of return shipping is borne by the buyer.

Upon receipt and inspection of the returned products, the Online Store will refund all payments received from the buyer within no later than 14 days, excluding delivery costs if a more expensive shipping method was chosen than the standard option offered. The seller has the right to withhold the refund until the returned products have been received.

6. Consumer Rights Regarding Non-Conforming Products

The Online Store is responsible for any non-conformity or defects in products sold to the buyer. If, upon receipt of the products, any visible defects, damage, or other discrepancies are found, the buyer must notify the Online Store without delay, and no later than 1 (one) day from the time of delivery, by writing to info@murovtech.lv or calling +371 23550506, and by sending photographs clearly showing the damage.

Hidden defects that could not be identified at the time of receipt must be reported no later than 1 (one) calendar day after delivery. The parties shall draw up a report in any form and agree on a resolution.

Complaints will be reviewed and a written response provided within 7 days. The Online Store is not liable for defects resulting from improper use or storage of the product after it has been handed over to the buyer.

If the purchased products have defects for which the seller is responsible, the buyer has the right to request that the defects be remedied or that the products be replaced with new ones free of charge. If the products cannot be repaired or replaced, the Online Store will refund the buyer all payments specified in the Distance Contract.

7. Processing of the Buyer's Personal Data

The Online Store processes only the personal data entered by the buyer when placing an order — first name, last name, email address, delivery address, and other relevant details. Personal data is shared with the delivery service provider to ensure product delivery, and with the payment institution Maksekeskus AS for payment processing. Detailed information on personal data processing can be found in the Privacy Policy section.

If the buyer has consented to receive marketing communications, the Online Store may send information about news and offers. Marketing communications can be opted out of by writing to info@murovtech.lv.

8. Dispute Resolution

The parties shall resolve all disputes arising between the seller and the buyer through mutual negotiation or correspondence. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, the parties shall resolve it in a court of the Republic of Latvia in accordance with applicable Latvian legislation. Disputes between the buyer (consumer) and the seller may also be submitted for resolution to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre of the Republic of Latvia.
